A well kept dining secret. Diverse menu, including serving breakfast all day. Portions are large and our food was very tasty. Market may sell beer and wine for off site they apparently don't have a license to serve alcohol in the restaurant. Breakfast rolls are huge and filling. Will go back when in the area.
The eggs Benedict was fantastic! Tried The fried ribs also ( crazy combo i know but it was really good) The service was excellent and friendly! Great atmosphere! AND it's a general store! I'll be back. For sure.
We stop to eat about 12 times a year on our way North. Staff is usually wonderful and we like their food. Today we walked out. We had asked the waitress to clean a table at which we sat because there was dust from the parking lot. She came back and cleaned it and we said we'd please like water for a drink. She came back, threw two place settings on the table. She didn't come back, served and took orders from a couple that came after we had. After 15 minutes we left and had a great lunch at Clam Lake Brewing. We aren't sure what her issue was other than having to clean the table because we thanked her. It was too bad because if had been our first time we likely would not go back and shared with friends who had never been there.
Thank you so much to the most wonderful waitstaff in the world. My wife and I came in with our 6 month old daughter. You gals that work here were amazing. You made us feel fantastic. We had a lovely breakfast and we'll certainly be back the next time we are in town.
The restaurant is in the middle of a country store! The menu has everything from all day breakfast to ribs to fish fry on Fridays. Have always had a good meal here, though the portions are Large! Most recently I tried the Ultimate (sandwich). The combination worked extremely well. Was a terrific sandwich! Good and friendly service, prices very fair, especially for the amount of food provided. Local paintings displayed and a nice greenhouse on site.
